How to make Nasi Uduk Jakarta


Nasi uduk is a typical food of Jakarta or better known as the Betawi people food. Material:
  • 300 grams of rice
  • 450 ml of coconut milk

Peanut chili ingredients:

  • 275 ml of hot water

Fried noodles ingredients:
  • 100 grams of vermicelli
  • 1 tablespoon of sweet soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 stalk of leeks
  • 1 tablespoon of oil

Ground spices:
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 0.5 teaspoons of pepper
  • 6 ebi brewed

Dry tempe material:
  • 150 grams of cut tempeh
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 4 red onions
  • 2 red chili
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 cm galangal
  • 1 tablespoon of sweet soy sauce
  • 0.5 tablespoons of acidic water
  • 1 teaspoon of brown sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of oil

Ho to make Nasi Uduk Jakarta:
  • For rice: simmer coconut milk, salt, bay leaves, cloves lemongrass and pandan leaves. Add rice. Stir until infused. Steam the rice for 30 minutes until done.
  • Blend the peanut sauce except hot water and vinegar. Lift. Add hot water and vinegar. Mix well. Smear fried rice vermicelli with sweet soy sauce, set aside.
